- “ The place is kind of old. And some parts of the building seem to be neglected-you could tell by the dust, garbage and food left out. The owner knows very well about the Taroko Gorge area, so his knowledge is worth staying there-he's also very kind. His little puppy is cute too, but it needs to be trained a little more before being allowed in the facility in my opinion. ”

- “ We stayed 2 nights for our visit to Taroko. The location is great, just a short walk to the park entrance and even less to the shuttle bus stop. The staff is friendly and helpful. The beds were just a very thin mat over a wooden slab. Some find it uncomfortable, some don't. After 10 hours of hiking, I slept fine. The bathrooms were not the cleanest I've seen and they don't provide toiletries. If you're just looking for a cheap place to crash for the night(s), this place will do just fine. ”
