- “ It is a fun and clean hostel. There were easy breakfast options and full, clean, well equipped kitchen. Some supplies offered for free. All organic. Our large and filled dorm was surprisingly quiet. I was happy to get a bed by the window to see the city. I forgot a lock for the under bed compartments. Was there an option to rent, borrow or buy? My main complaint was that parking was very difficult. A heads up on cost and etiquette on the website would have been appreciated. ”

- “ There is no AC in the hostel, being over there in the summer was ridiculous. We could not decide whether it was hotter inside or outside. The room we stayed in did not have a door and was open to anyone who came up to the 3rd floor. The staff were not very friendly and overall I would not stay here again. I have been to Hostels with a great/social/fun atmosphere which this place definitely lacked. ”

I am in my mid fifties but I enjoyed the company of the young people and I have recommended my daughter to travel to Montreal and stay at the Alternative Auberge - she would love your place as well as her mother did.
