When you walk-up to the Boat House you think "Maybe, I should have stayed somewhere else". When you open the door, meet the personnel and experience the absolute order, facilities and neatness of the hostel, you know this is the best. It is an excellent Hostel. It is by far the best hostel for travellers by car. There is no other more convenient hostel that provides the ease of parking with no traffic problems. The Boat House is unique. It is the best Hostel in Praque!

Don't choose this hostel if you're only going to be in Prague for a few days...you'll spend too much time traveling to and from the hostel. Otherwise the ladies who run the place are very nice and it has everthing (and more) that a hosteler needs.

The boathouse was awesome. It was kinda out of the way...I wouldn't walk to it in the dark by myself. but the staff was VERY FRIENDLY!!!!! For instance, we didn't put our names on the list for dinner on time. But after everyone else had been served dinner, the lady who cooked gave us the extra food for no charge. So sweet!

i had a great time there, was totally safe and i can't say enough about the homey feeling i had. the ladies treat you like their own children. there were always people to chat with in a clean environment and you cant beat the view of the river from the room.

When I arrived at The Boathouse, there were letters posted everywhere on the walls thanking the ladies that own the boathouse for their stay. I thought it was kind of weird- since it is just a hostel. But by the time I left, I understood the love everyone has for the Boathouse. The environment is amazing, the ladies that run the Boathouse would do anything for the people that stay there, even run out at 10:00pm to go get more phone card for people like they did for us.

Stay in the Boathouse if you are going to prague. ALthough its a little outside of the city it was by far the best hostel i stayed in on my trip to europe. You will meet very cool people. Oh yeah and the dinner is the best in town.

Very cool place if you dont mind being away from the center of town. Its a great place to spend the entire day if you like fishing, golfing or kayaking. If u do more than 3 days in Prague stay here one night and the others at a hostel in the middle of the city. Nothing worse than waiting for a tram at 2am and then take it for 20 minutes to get home.

I was plased, however - my standards may be lower than most! I chose this hostel becase of the fun rating and I was not disappointed.
If you can try the dinner, it's healthy. If you didn't sign up, there is a guy selling sausage downstairs which is nice.
