The Bridge II is lovely. I'll say that you get exactly what you pay for, in that it's very bare bones and also not terribly conveniently located. It's a little haphazardly organized as well, but Jorge is delightful and his family are all very accommodating. I would love to stay here again.

Jorge the manager was always great... Always asking if we needed anything, or how could he help... Fort Lauderdale is really big so get a car...

A++++++! The rooms there are HUGE. They\'re basically apartments with full kitchens, 2 bedrooms, a full bathroom, and there were only 3 other people in my room. They have internet in every room thru ethernet, and Wi-Fi all over the property, which was a big plus for me. The manager is really nice and helpful - he gave me great tips about how to get around on the cheap, good restaurants, bars, nightlife, etc. He\'s there 24/7 so there\'s a safer feel. Friendly crowd - lots of international people who work on yachts and cruise ships stay there. They also have a pool - hard to come on the hostel scene. Lots of people hang out at the pool at night, barbecuing, etc. Clean, fun, and very inexpensive, I will definitely stay there again whenever I\'m in Ft. Lauderdale.

This hostel suited our needs as we were in town only to board a day cruise. They staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I did not use any facilities except the internet so cannot comment on them.

It is more like a home, I like it. Only the manager seemed not happy to help you, but he was kinda nice. People in Fort Lauderdale like to talk with you, I was very happy with that. Thanks.

We don't understand how the reviews and pictures of this hostel could be so misleading. The place was an absolute dump, we wouldn't put our worst enemies there. And now we are charged half of the booking, which we cancelled 10 days in advance, since we had booked 1 day first, March 8 and cancelled that day for the March 19-25 stay. How can we fight this, since the Manager has our Visa number?

The owner/manager of the hostel was very helpful and friendly. The place could have been cleaner and had more character and it would be a great hostel.

I came on a Saturday night and partyed w/ everyone there. The people were young and cool, from all over the world and we had fun. The accommodations were alright, but I was glad I only had to sleep in the room!
