Quiet. Which was great. Everything was really clean. My only complaint is that a nice, hot, high pressure shower would have been nice after climbing a mountain in the rain.

Excellent place to stay if you want to see Snowdonia National Park. The price is great. We took a train into Betws-y-Coed and then you need to hop on the 64 Bus to Penmachno from there to get to Eagles. Great little pub on the ground floor that serves very good food Friday and Saturday evenings. I would stay again no doubt.
Penmachno is a genuine little Welsh town full of sheep, not a tourist trap. It was secluded and quiet and beautiful.

A very nice, cosy and peaceful place to stay. The location is a bit weird (with a cemetery next door) but the host is warm, polite and friendly. There's a good pub downstairs.

very noisy and the squeeky door on the landing was loud and irritating-didn't sleep much and left a day early!
Had a great time at The Eagles. Self catering facilities were absolutely excellent. Lovely clean room and it was a pleasure to stay there. Would definitely recommend it and go back there again. Well done to all the staff.
