Not in a very nice area of Northbridge so not so good for single female travellers returning at nighttime but close enough to the city for easy access to all facilities. Lacked any real atmosphere I felt and the reception staff worried me by saying I would have difficulty getting a taxi to get me to the airport in the early hours of the morning (Saturday night) and that previous clients had missed flights but failing to offer any alternative until pressed. Stayed in 5 hostels during my Australia visit; this one was the best by far. Very clean and new-looking facility. My double private room was hotel quality (TV, DVD player, fridge, coffeemaker, air conditioner, good-size bathroom, towels). Full access to a large commercial kitchen, with plenty of dry and refrigerated storage space for guest food. Multiple indoor and outdoor common areas -- met great folks there. i loved my stay here. the staff are so friendly and helpful, the place is clean and modern with a nice outdoor area, clean kitchen and you are a stones throw from town and the nightlife of northbridge. if i *had* to pick a fault, it needed more 'get togethers'- just to help you get to know some of the other folks there- but saying that, I loved the place anyway! would highly recommend.
