Nice place to stay in Jaipur. Very friendly and helpful host. The Nest was in a nice residential area, close to the MI road, where there are plenty of places to eat and drink. 5 minute auto rickshaw ride in to the centre of Jaipur. Room was ok, we were very happy to have toilet paper (Can be a rare occurrence in budget hotels in India), air conditioning and ceiling fan. Over this was excellent value for the very cheap rate (which included simple cooked breakfast)

The Hostel is much better then you could expect.Really clean place. Offering you extra facilities like Indian food cooking session etc. There is a terrace with a very nice view of forts surrounding the city.Strongly reccommended place!

The Explorer's Nest is an oasis amongst the chaos of Jaipur. The owners, Armind and Shoma, are incredibly friendly and helpful, and go above and beyond to create a welcoming environment. The double rooms are clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. The rooftop room (single) is not recommended: cramped, stuffy, and a few too many bugs. Although the neighbourhood is safe and within a gated compound, women staying at the hostel may not feel comfortable walking through the lanes at night.

I have stayed many hostels in India, but I found that the Explorers Nest is the best. I felt just like being at home and I wish I could have stayed more days:)

Arvind and Shoma have made this place one of the best to stay in Jaipur. We checked out many, but this was a nice homely feel, close to everything and perfect to relax in after a day out chatting about everything and anything. While travelling around India, this is a great place to take a break from everything, stay a few days and relax.
