The Bathroom was rotten!! There should be keys for the rooms, I don't think it is very safe.

The (one) staff person was very friendly and helpful. He even printed off bus schedules for us. Our room was spacious, however, we think it was unheated (it was January and rather chilly outside). At least the blankets were good. The rooms and bathrooms were pretty clean, considering the age of the building. The kitchen had plenty of pots, dishes, etc..., but at least one of the cabinets was in serious need of cleaning. We washed the pots before using them. You have to go outside to get to the kitchen, which is a little inconvenient. The bus from Dublin (if you don't take the express) stops right in front of the hostel, though you'd definitely need to tell the driver that's where you want to get off. We were fairly happy with the hostel, no heat in the room and the gross cabinets in the kitchen are our only real complaints.

Very nice to have a room looking over the Boyne, although there was a mix up over which room I had booked via the website - which ended up with me having to pay more than I expected - not a good way to start - I think the system could be improved - but otherwise we had a good time and would be happy to stay at the Green Door again.

The family room with view on the river is super! for a longer stay it would be great if there were a little more strorage possibilities in the room,like "Haken" or "Regal"....and perhaps a litter basket. Thank you for the nice days!

Hard to find the hostel.
very friendly staff... but wehre was the hot water for shower- gone !
f**** cold, and only one little sink for al lot of people (20), and the whole hoste needs some paint.
