  • I've spent my first 2 weeks in Edinburgh in this Hostel and this helped me a lot :) The staff and the environment was fantastic, with realy nice people. Had a few hours with no sleep due to citizens who just went out partying but apart from this I had fun and got on well with others... ;)

  • we stayed in a '4 bed dorm'. what a joke. it was a single bed above a double bed, and a pull out matress below the double bed. get this, they then stole the matress! i came in from a night out and had to share the double bed with my hairy mate! also the lack of plugs/power outlets is ridiculous to say the least. so cheap-ass and disrespectful to guests of the hostel. add to this the ignorance of the staff we encountered and youve got one of the most unpleasant hostel experiences ever, steer clear

  • The location is not bad, you can reach the downtown in 10min by walking. It's a good deal for wants save money in acomodation to spend around the city.

  • This is not the worst hostel I have stayed in, but I didn't like that I had to rent my sheet and towel and that I only got a bottom sheet for the bed the duvet for my top cover was not laundered. The bathroom was ok, but the drain in the shower had tissue or something in it, and I had to wait for it to drain every few minutes. Breakfast was fine for the price and the staff was nice. No electric outlets in the room was a giant pain, but we made do.
