Fantastic hostel! The hostel has a very nice common area to meet other travelers and play pool or grab a bite to eat. Only a two or three minute walk to the heart of the old city, where there are lots of nice restaurants and bars. Buses to Lijiang (and I believe other cities as well) pick you up directly from the hostel. The staff here are very nice and helpful. I accidentally left a pair of pants at the hostel a few days ago, and they found another traveler there who is bringing them to me in K Jocelyn, from USA ~ 10th Dec 2011

Had a great stay at Jade Emu Song, Jane and Dave are super helpful and friendly, as is the rest of the staff. Food is good, common areas are lively and a great place to meet other travelers. They didn't even bat an eyelid when we accidentally smashed the toilet seat, would highly recommend, great atmosphere! timothy, from USA ~ 24th Apr 2011
