Have to saw this is the best, friendliest, cleanest, most fun hostel I have ever stayed in. The owner dave is possibly one of the nicest guys your ever likely to meet! We stayed their for 2 nights and are going back to stay a further 3 nights after coming back to Dali from lijiang! The city of Dali itself is amazing and so chilled out and the jade emu is about 100 metres from the main streets of the old town!Foods great, beers cheap and the staff are super friendly. Great place!! Big, clean, modern rooms, friendly staff that helps you to organize everything (tours, drivers, tickets). Just 5 minutes walk from the Old Town of Dali. If I come to Dali again, I will definitely stay here again!
Tolles Hostel! Große, moderne, blitzsaubere Zimmer, freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal (Ticket-Service, helfen bei Organisation von Tagesausflüg undundund). Nur wenige Schritte von Dalis Altstadt entfernt... und das ganze zu einem günstiges Preis.

the best hostel i have ever stayed in. the owner is a really nice and helpful guy and everyone is so relaxed here. everything about the place is really really good. wouldnt hesitate to come back to beautiful dali and i would definately stay at this amazing hostel again! thanks so much for making my stay here a memorable one.

Super place to stay ! When staying in the dorm, you have to go outside for the bathroom - but it has a heater, so superb for winter time. Furthermore, everything is working and well organized. There is no place indoors to eat though and the common room is small and 'open'. But still, one of the nicest places I've been so far...

Wonderful. The atmosphere of tranquil conviviality makes you stay longer than you should. Dave and Song treat you like guests in their home rather than paying customers and the charming army of conscientious support staff and the most comfortable beds you\'ll find combine to make this place a real winner.
