Great hostel! Great facilities! Clean!
We stayed in the all female dorm and it was by far the best dorm I've ever stayed in. Big beds, gorgeous view out the window, very clean and safe. The only drawback was that there was only 1 shower and it was one floor down (however, this wasn't really much of an inconvenience...) Everyone at The Jade Emu was helpful, kind, and really friendly. The location was fantastic - only a 5 minute walk into the old town. I would absolutely recommend staying here!

Felt like home. Wish I could've stayed on indefinitely. The people there were so friendly, staff and guests alike. I enjoyed the fellowship, food and entertaining pool matches. I'll definitely be back!
Fantastic place to stay; Dave and Song are excellent hosts. Make sure to take up Dave on his offer of a free room if you can beat him at pool!
Maybe the best hostel in China! Such a great story how it started... unbelievably clean and posh for hostel. It\'s mostly frickin\' marble!!! Building is less than a year old!! The best!!!
Dave and Song are great people and they run a clean and fun hostel. The rooms are twice the value for the price.
Best.Hostel.EVER.It's closer to a hotel than hostel.Everything was SPOTLESS.The beds are AMAZING.The common room is posh.They took care of everything!We had body wash and shampoo and clean towels in the shower.You can rent a DVD player or Xbox for your room!They have Skype and a webcam!We didn't eat during cafe hours, but they had a huge delivery menu and ordered delivery for us.A daytrip was arranged and bus tickets bought at the front desk, and we were picked up directly from the hostel.

Wow! How do you spell amazing? Jade Emu Guest House =) Dave and Song were very accomodating with their new hostel. The rooms were nice and clean, as were the bathrooms. But most importantly the staff were extemely nice and helpful. Truly the best hostel I have stayed at in my 6 month Asian tour.
