- “ This is the best hostel that i have stayed in China. The price was excellent, bed so comfortable, food in the restaurant superb, location peaceful and perfect, absolutely clean, and the service outstanding. I really enjoyed the fact that i could watch Australian television programmes, most hotels and hostels you can only get Chinese tv channels. Members of the staff arranged tours for me with a very good taxi driver, booked bus tickets, were extremely helpful and gave excellent travel advice. ”

- “ Location: Jade Emu Hostel is a well-maintained traditional Bai House located just outside Dali old town - a 5 min walk away from the noisy and busy old town. Staff: Friendly staff who could help with the bookings of tours-only complaint was that there was no staff at the reception when we were checking out in the morning. Fortunately, we had already settled all our payments the day before. Rooms: Clean and equipped with electric blanket, TV, Wifi, basic amenities like towels/shampoo/soap. ”
