THe hostel is about 12 minutes walk from Jaffa Gate in the Old City. It is right next to Bin yahuda St, so is good for anyone out there to party and shop. The reception is closed for sabbath, and when I arrived Saturday Morning, there was no one there to help Irfan, from USA ~ 9th Jul 2009

Normaal goed Hostel. Op loopafstand van het centrum en tegenover het uitgaansgebied. Kamers zijn eenvoudig maar goed. arico gaat alleen als het echt warm is aan (centraal geregeld). Wij hebben er een week met plezier gezeten. Willem, from Netherlands ~ 7th Oct 2009

Friendly staff and central location and very clean. Not exactly buzzing but good if you want somewhere quiet and without fuss. Thomas, from England ~ 13th Jun 2009

Jerusalem Hostel is fine if you are looking for a cheap bed in a great location. Our 2 bed room was big enough, with a balcony. Carpet was a bit old, but that's okay for a budget house. The best about the Jerusalem Hostel is the location, less than 10 walking minutes to the Old City - great. All in all, I would go there again, if it was another short stay. If I were to go there for a week or more, I would consider paying a bit more and have some more comfort. Staff is friendly. Matti, from Germany ~ 25th May 2009

One of the best Hostels I have ever lived in. Centrally located between new and old Jerusalem with plenty of shopping and site seeing just around the corner. Staff is extremely helpful, and might I add, pretty good looking. Eric, from USA ~ 13th Dec 2008

The hostel is only a ten minute walk from the old city and very convenient. The staff and fellow travellers were helpful and very friendly and the free internet access was a Godsend. The only criticism I would have is that the hostel would benefit from some investment. It was obviously very beautiful in it's hayday but looks a little shabby and worn in places, despite it's cleanliness. However, for me,it was a great place to stay and I would reccommend it to anyone looking for cheaper accomodatio Cynthia, from Wales ~ 17th Jan 2009
