there is no better location to be in the city than this hostel. right in the middle of everything, it has nice rooms with attached bathrooms and not that much money. perfect place to stay if travelling on a budget

Best features are free Internet and washing machine facilities.

IT WAS A GOOD AND CONVENIENT PLACE TO STAY, HOWEVER, BEING IN A DORM ROOM WITH PEOPLE THAT ACTUALLY LIVE THERE, TAKING UP ALL AVAILABLE FREE SPACE IS NOT IDEAL

The best hostel in Jerusalem (and I`ve seen several ones) -- clean, nice, is situated in non-arabic place, etc. It`s a little bit difficult to get inside, when you come at 3.00 a.m. at shabbat, but the rest was OK. :) I can`t but mention the wonderful view of Jerusalem from the roof of the hostel! Be open minded about the dorms. You get what you pay for - don't expect the Ritz. The individual rooms looked pretty nice.

Very good location for the new city - its right in the middle of the main street and just next to where the shared taxis to other cities go from. Kitchen is really nice. My only problem with this hostel was the security - reception is not 24/7 but the main door is secured by a code and there are no other locks/codes for the dorms or luggage lockers while reception is away, so itd be quite easy for anything you bring with you to get stolen. This is more of an issue during shabbat (3pm fri to 6pm sat) than at other times.

THANK YOU JH! I loved my stay there and hate to leave.. I didn't stay in a hostel as a guest, but in a home as a friend.. This is certainly a place that can be recommend to everybody.. The only minor things keeping it from topgrates, were some minors without any real importance (as private locker and the building itself).. Both the crew and the clientel were generally wonderfull people, that made the stay memorable.. And staying in a place only five minutes from the old city and virtually in the place where everything happens (at the Zion Square and beginning of Ben Yehuda), makes the location perfect.. Again, thanks for everything.. Peter

The hostel is in an amazing location, really close to Jaffa gate and right across from Zion Square and all the other cool places to go out at night. The internet is free, which is great also. The only downfall is that the dorm rooms are really small and it's really cramped in there.

the hostel was not clean, anyone who ever stayed there knows the security code to get in, and i didnt enjoy staying there. i stayed becuase of the wonderful location right on ben yehuda street. you are in the center of jerusalem in walking distance to the kotel, shopping, food, and night life.
