The Loft Design Hostel in Maroochydore, China

The hostel itself is OK, but do not attend their tours to Emei and Leshan mountains. They engage a local Chinese tour agency, which seems more intent in maximising their profits rather than providing an enjoyable experience. The bus was lousy, the accomodation and food passable. What was most irksome is that for my tour, they pooled different people on apparently slightly different packages together while operating on minimal resources and manpower, leading to logistical inefficiency. The atmosphere was lacking only in the fact that there were renovations happening during my stay, no resturant or sitting area. This led to no interaction with other visitors or comfortable place to just sit and enjoy. I will book at the Loft again, just to see how the renovations went and what the hostel has to offer for the traveller. Th area was perfect for what I wanted to visit in the surrounding district and the staff were very warm and helpful.
