Only complaint is that hot water was unpredictable.

Great aesthetic throughout the place: exposed brick, lots of windows, funky artistic vibe. Reminded me of the lower east side of Manhattan! Super-friendly staff. Close to downtown. HIGHLY recommended!!

A bit out the way from the bus stations to get to all the action but theres only really this one and the Mix Hostel that are worth looking at, top marks to the staff and the bar is pretty awesome

Heating is still necessary in March, given that the windows don't shut properly. The air temp in our room was so cold - a major draft coming in from the bent windows that don't shut. Otherwise, fabulous! Would def stay there again!

Unfortunately the Danish cafe attached to the hostel gave us food poisoning so we ended up staying a bit longer than we planned, but it the hostel was nice!

Cooooold....Fucking cold... From our room you hade to go outside to get to the only two western toilets and the showers, which were situated in a non-heated kind of basement. The restaurant didn't exist, it was "decorating at the moment" we were told. The loft on the upper floor was nice though, but not exactly crowded... Freezing cold there as well. BUT, the staff were excellent, really helpful and pretty good english-speakers! They helped us with flighttickets and permits to Tibet, with transfer to the airport included. The light in the rooms were kind of like those in a prison or in a horror movie.

Great location, helpful staff. It's been a cold winter and the central heating just couldn't cope. Dorms were warm, but common areas were freezing (so not much interaction with other travellers). One unusual feature here - no lockers in the dorms.

The place was nice, and the staff was very friendly and helpful, but the location is extremely inconvenient. It's not close to any attractions or amenities, and taxis are very difficult to find in the area. Also, the brick building with high ceilings is very cold in the winter.
