The front desk official/(s) were rude. Room was very dirty. Air-conditioning not working. Lights were on whole night, girls coming to room and spent time with boy/(s) in toilet, other occupants spread their belongings all over in the room. Atmosphere was very poor, nauseatic and filthy. It was a six bedded dorm i.e. US$ 150 (@ US$25 per bed) are charged by the owner for the room having no service, dirty toilet. I shall never come back to this hostel. Miami Hostel is a nice relaxing place to stay during a break. Usually the atmosphere is friendly and calm, except nights and weekends of course when it turns into giant pregame party before you head out to play. For the price they do include breakfast ( bagel), a BBQ on weekends, a jacuzzi, pool table, computer station and clean towels and sheets. Im impressed with the place and would recommend them to visitors on a budget.Plus they are accesible by bus and is very close to the great nightlife Shakela, from USA ~ 9th May 2012

the kitchen is gorgeous, the common area is great. The rooms are fine, but the air freshener in my room was too much. it squirted so much fragrance into the air that my lungs were closing up, i could barely breathe when trying to sleep. i tried to open the window, but it was locked shut, i didn't want to open the door because of the noise and security issues - so i felt like i was suffocating all night. it should be optional whether people are forced to inhale that stuff. alyssa, from USA ~ 15th Apr 2012

The staff was awesome. There were a lot of foreigners which made for a fun atmosphere. Lounging in the commons area was always awesome and fun. The staff always had something to do during the evening for the guests. Joey, from USA ~ 4th Apr 2012

I had about $50 for a bed with no electricity in the room. There was also no A/C in the room and it became extremely hot and smelly. Other rooms besides ours had A/C. When asked to rectify this we never got a response. Will never go back ever again! Have stayed at other hostels for cheaper with better quality! Sarah, from USA ~ 13th Mar 2012
