  • The room was ok, but incommon rooms were very dirty and likely never cleaned. The incommon rooms were filled with broken furniture and other junk. For most of the days there was no hot water. The manager forgot to tell us about the code which opens downstairs' door at night (and he didn't give us the code), so we had serious trouble getting in! There was a big group of students who had a parties before & after going to a bar, and no soundproofing in the walls.

  • The man who manages this hostel is kind if you follow his rules, but if not it could be a nigthmare. The hostel is located in a very old building.

  • Breakfast is 9-10 only, bathroom is full of mould, staff made us feel like we were very inconvenient and had no uselful suggestions of what to do. I do not recommend staying here

  • Uhm, quite a bit of a downer, the building freaks you out after entering. It's ok though inside, the main issue here is security -- no way to leave your luggage after checking out ! The staff was nonetheless good, the room clean and all. I wouldn't go that far as to recommending it, let's just say it's 'acceptable'. The double is clean and nice, but the amenities lack a bit of renovation.

Practically, Barcelona is a pretty easy city to navigate on foot or by public transport with a well laid-out grid system for the streets and a simple metro system. Here's an example of what you can do with 24 hours and a T10 (10 journey) metro ticket.
