- “ The room was freezing one night then baking hot the next. I requested to extend my stay and that somehow doubled my rate for the added nights. The breakfast is free but there's nothing without sugar in it and the milk is whole milk. The facilities are excellent. The interiors have an industrial aesthetic that fits the area. Its all concrete, brick and ceramic tile. They keep it very clean and there is none of the drabness I've experienced at other hostels. Very hip neighborhood. ”

- “ The stuff was super great! They are very patient and helpfull. :) it was easy to get to know people and room sizes are good. The breakfast could be a little longer though and bathrooms on the hallway were a bit dirty but not bad. I enjoyed my staying, thank u all! :) ”

- “ Although it's not in Manhattan, the hostel was very accessible via subway. The place was nicely decorated and spacious. Kitchen area was well-supplied, The different events hosted within the hostel offer occupants nice social alternatives to going out. The area seemed to have a healthy bar and restaurant scene, but it's spread out and hard for out-of-towners to see. I think it'd be good if the hostel could provide more information to the backpackers in that regard. ”

- “ This was the first time I've stayed in a hostel, and I was pleased with the experience. I loved the cool atmosphere of the place. It was friendly and seemed to encourage everybody to get to know one another, rather than just nodding in the elevators and otherwise trying to forget that other travelers exist like every hotel I've ever stayed in. I appreciated the common room, the general cleanliness of the place, the friendly staff, and of course the free breakfast. ”

- “ This was a great spot, just a couple blocks from the L, then a few quick stops to Manhattan. 24-hour reception made it extremely easy to check in, even though it was only a little after 7 - if I had run into any delays, there would have been no issue, so the ease of mind is great. Stayed in a 3-person dorm: comfortable, clean bedding and fresh pillow. Almost everyone at the hostel was your regular 20-something international traveler - generally cool, down for a fun night out, but not bothersome. ”

- “ Cold shower for the entire duration of my stay. Was told to use the shower on 1st floor, until they fixed the problem, which was a hassle since I was staying on 4th floor. People were going in and out of the dorm room all night, so no sleep either. I've never had any problem with getting sleep in a dormitory, but in this occasion it felt like sleeping at a train station. Also, ice-cold stomach-chilling room during night. No heating. Friendly staff though! Overall: will never go back there. ”

- “ Nice hostel in a very good location. Very easy to get into Manhattan but the area around it is pretty cool so you may not want to! The common areas are a little small and sound seems to travel straight through the walls but on the whole I would definitely stay there again. ”
