This was our, me and my wife, first time in a hostel and it was a great experience. Staff was friendly and willing to help decide where to go, what to do, and where to eat. You have to go to Cafe O'lei, its awesome, just walking distance from the hostel. I would book here again.

The Northshore Hostel was great! The staff was very helpful about giving advice on things to do on the island and the other travelers were really interesting and fun to sit around with and trade stories. I would definitely stay at this hostel again.

This hostel was very clean and very secure. The staff was great to orient me to the place and the linens were included in the price. The only thing negative was that there was a bar a block down the road and it was noisy until about 3:30 am. So, I didn't get much sleep. Maybe place a box fan or something like that in the room to block out noise?

Would have preferred lockable drawers or closets in the men's dorm room.
