We were greeted by a lady with a very militant approach, who started off the conversation demanding ID off us. After seeing our booked accommodation and realising its unsuitability we tried to cancel our booking, however, she refused to cancel it and stated that we would be charged for both nights (you have to book a minimum of 2 nights). Very inflexible and rude service. With shockingly rigid terms & conditions. Also, location of the hostel is now very poor due to the earthquakes... Lou, from England ~ 31st Jan 2012

Everything is very new and clean, very well maintained. People are nice and friendly. the kitchen is huge and clean. The staff is missing information, with no idea where the buses are, what bus to take, where the information site is, etc but the whole city is quite a mess due to the earthquake. Blankets did not warm so good and the steam heater was turned off. As staff leaves the hostel at 8:00PM, it was a cold night. I´ll not recommend it to my friends. Andre, from Brazil ~ 15th Apr 2011
