- “ I have very mixed feelings on the Old Schoolhouse. We were put in a shared apartment as we had expected, but told that the next day we would have to move rooms. This was a pain and not very proffesional. However where we were moved we had the whole apartment to ourselves, with a great kitchen and all appliances needed to be self contained. HOWEVER the apartment had no WIFI as it was advertised and as we had expected and paid for, very inconvenient. The TV did not work either but big deal. ”

- “ The facilities are absolutely fantastic bar none. Our room wasn't clean not because of the hostel but because of the german school group staying in the extra room. Jana who checked me in offered to find their teacher if they got loud but she was so nice that when they got loud at 5 am I couldn't bear to go wake her up. Without a school group everything would have been beyond perfect and somethings you just cannot help. ”

- “ These apartments have a good location, really closed to the city center, specially to the Royal Mile (main street of Edinburgh). The staff is unfriendly and the hostel has not reception. Even so it is recommended to expend a few days. ”
