Felt like staying in a university dorm/ student house, too many people in this hostel so it was a bit chaotic at times. Good kitchen facilities but it got very busy at times with everyone cooking. Eithne, from Ireland ~ 2nd Feb 2012

had a good stay and the staff were friendly and helpful. just one observation that the hanging space was too high up and would be better lower down but otherwise no other problems patricia, from England ~ 5th Jan 2012

You can rent DVDs from the front desk. It's almost off the Sydney city map and one avenue over is shady as hell, though we were assured the street we were on was safe and it seemed that way. It's cramped but a cute Victorian-style house...def try the cafe across the street, Coco cafe...great food, great prices great service. Also on the same block as a subway station which can get you anywhere in the city. Colin, from USA ~ 6th Jan 2012

Great location, everything was walkable. Lot's of food and supermarkets around. Great social activities both day/night. Staff was friendly and took care of us even after we checked out. I had a really great experience and I would recommend this establishment. I stayed in a double private. Steven, from Canada ~ 26th Sep 2011

Very nice hostel. Would stay here again anytime. Staff was super nice and helpful. Only negative thing: the kitchen is way to small to accommodate everybody esp. in the evening. And you definitely need more fridges. Antje, from Germany ~ 24th Sep 2011

There were organized activities every night, but the hostel itself was quiet after 10pm unless you had a room facing the street (which was quite loud on the weekends, but not the hostels fault).Very close to the Kings Cross station, although you could walk most places if you didn't mind a lengthy walk. The private room I had (en Suite) for my last night was MARVELOUS!The drive by shuttle for the airport is convenient and inexpensive.Bus stops and grocery stores are close gail, from USA ~ 10th Jun 2011

A good stay overall. Near Kings Cross Station, a Coles grocery store, and plenty of nightlife. The staff was helpful. We arrived too late to use the free shuttle pickup, but the staff gave us tickets to use the shuttle service to drive us back to the airport.Dorm was ok, but I would go with a smaller room next time that didn't face the street. Kitchen and lounge were good and generally busy. Well kept bathrooms and showers. An overall positive experience. Simonas, from Canada ~ 27th Apr 2011
