The Ritz for Backpackers in Oaxaca, Australia

Private rooms good and location good but the place is like a youth club! On our first day we were told there was a free bbq which was a complete joke, a tray of cheap sausages & burgers came out and were gone within seconds, all the 'kids' were like animals over a free meal. It got worse too as music was played ridiculously loud all night until early in the morning. This happened several times during our stay. The 'free' pancake breakfast was just the same, like vultures crowded around with rachel, from England ~ 12th Oct 2011

The hostel is in a great location and if you love to drink and stay up all night it is great. However, if you want to sleep anytime between 11pm and 3am, forget it. The club downstairs is very very noisy as is a lot of the long stayers in the hostel. They treat it as their home, without anythought for people passing through. On a plus point, the beds are comfortable and the shower was wet!! I would try and find somewhere where sleep is an option next time!!!!!! Richard, from England ~ 29th Mar 2011
