This hostel was super cute, a lot of character. The breakfast was good and it was handy to have a fridge to put food and drinks in. Very clean. Staff were really nice. It's also close to the train station.

Very quiet and clean little hostel for real travelers and not just partiers, i.e. there is no drinking taking place on site. Was some late-night noise, but that's what earplugs are for. Would recommend.

This is my favourite hostel in the entire world! Charlie (the owner) is absolutely one the best people you will ever meet. He is so willing to have a chat and help people out. He can usually be found in the kitchen cleaning something ot rather. (This place is never dirty.) It is located right across the river from Millenium stadium and a five minute walk from the train and bus stations. The rooms are fairly new and extremely clean and the bathrooms are fantastic. The kitchen is well equipped

This was a very nice hostel. It seemed recently updated and the staff was very friendly. The also had a very nice entertainment room for internet and movies.

The hostel was perfect, right in the centre of the city, sitting next to river and opposite the millenium stadium. The walk to the main high street of bars, restaurants and clubs was a 5 minute walk if that. People behind the desk were awesome. Very friendly, knowledgeble and fun. Facilities were great, kitchen clean, dining room and modern outside for eating and catching some rays. Also a tv room with Sky if you fancied relaxing. All in all a big thanks for a great weekend and definetly will be
Abi and Charlie (the hostel owners) were absolutely fantastic! The hostel is beautiful, clean and felt like a second home. The bathrooms were a real luxury for a backpacker - toilet+sink+shower=in one room!! :) The kitchen was always spotless and welcoming. I loved the TV room and the location was perfect. I look forward to going back there!! I highly recommend that you spent time in this hostel!!!
I would like to say that the Riverhouse Backpackers was THE BEST hostel I have stayed in. The owners Charlie and Abi and Charlie's mother Helen are all really professional and extremely pleasant and that shows in the atmosphere and cleanliness of the hostel. The only thing I didn't like was the instant coffee in the morning..other than that 100% Charlie is AMAZING!! The Riverside is AMAZING!!!! Loved it and we will definitely be back!
