  • Travel Hub is a very good place for meeting up with backpackers from different countries and sharing their Asian travel experiences. The atmosphere is quite like that of a home and you will always find people sitting in the lobby and kitchen area willing to give company for conversation. The dorms are okay, slightly crowded with 12 beds but there is a locker for each person and a bed light for each bed. The Wi-fi is slow due to limited nodes, but apart from that this place is worth the money.

  • I met 3 receptionists at there. The lady is very nice and helpful, but the guys are not, they're not friendly, and kind of annoying. The facility is good, but need more bathrooms and restrooms. But still worth the money, I can't expect more than that only with ~20MYR/night.

  • The rooms are attractive and well enough, but the dorm is too crowded. Having to pay extra for towel and for locker seems too much.

  • Just finished a several-week stay here. Its location near the Maharajalela monorail stop makes it a convenient place to stay the two things that make it stand out favorably are its value for the money, and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. If you're looking for a comfortable, inexpensive hostel in a decent location, the Travel Hub is a very good choice.

  • For what your paying, this is a pretty good stay. I stayed in a dorm, and each bed had its own individual outlet and light. There is a nice living room area with a nice kitchen as well. Somewhat social atmosphere too! The only problem is the bathroom facilities - half of them don't work, or are very poorly kept and the location isn't too ideal.

  • It's ok. Breakfast is pretty poor. Bread and jam and toast and when I was there the toaster was broken. Staff originally didn't have my reservation but eventually found it. Cheapest place for a single room though and the location is good.

  • As in other places in Malaysia, rooms are tiny and windowless. There is not even a dustbin in the room. Common area is small and reasonable clean. Breakfast is only the absolute minimum (some toast and jam). Plus: free Wifi.

  • Hostel is very near to KL "chinatown", nice for street shopping. Inside of the hostel is pleasantly nice. Staff is very friendly too! Only "not so good" point is the location. Jalan Balai Polis street can be a bit dangerous at night because it is a small road.

  • Very nice and helpful staff. Nice and clean hostel not far from Chinatown and a LRT station (metro). And they have Neil Gaiman's "Sandman" Graphic Novels to borrow. What else do you need?

  • 4 of us stayed in the 4-bed dorm (2 bunk beds).. The two of us sleeping below experience some itchiness at night.. not sure if its bed bug or some insect.. there are construction going on currently making the floor and environment dirty/dusty but we are not allowed to wear shoes inside.. Nonetheless.. the location and price is fantastic..
