Nice Hostel. Do not get directions or ask for transportation information at the desk. Get your own info.

The best about TROPICS is location and it is also very clean. It has a swimming pool and canteen outside which is great for socializing! I would definitely come back;-)

Good value for money. Basic and dated but clean. Only one issue, they put a boy in our female 4 bed dorm the first night and were not the least bit apologetic when we mentioned it next day.

This is the best place to stay in south beach. Trust me. I travel a bit and this place is absolutely worth it. Has a nice pool, staff are not warm and fuzzy, but they are nice and (more importantly) they get you answers and solutions. You cannot beat the location. It's RIGHT where you want to be in SObe. Enjoy!

Stayed there the second time and was nice as a year before. Close to beach and Miami art deco area. Would reccoment staying there.

Quiet close to the beach and Lincoln Rd (good to party and get food). Rooms were simple (no wardrobe or safe) but clean. Safe at the front desk costs 0.25USD per opening. As it is located on 15th street it's quiet a long walking distance from South Beach. Street parking-pass for 10USD per day available, but I do not know how they check the validity of that pass.

The window in my room was broken and couldn't be fully closed.

Decent place - price was ok for what it was. I had a private room and they gave us towels which I found rare for a hostel. Loud though - I Had two rooms - one by the pool and then next to a parking garage. Could not have slept without my earplugs. Not much to say other than it was a place to stay. The location would probably cause me to stay again if I had no other choice. A quick jaunt everywhere.
