- “ Absolutely loved this hostel! The area downstairs is great for hanging out and I loved the beach and surf atmosphere! It's a normal house and no hotel so I really felt at home. The staff was nice and helpful. No lockers but I was never afraid that anything could disappear. Thanks for the great time! ”

- “ I stayed at a hostel in Malaga once, and I remember that when I payed the initial deposit online, my receipt said that the balance would be paid upon my arrival at the hostel, and this is what happened. With this hostel, I paid the deposit online, but upon arrival paid the entire amount in cash, amounting to about 18 dollars more than the original 146-dollar purchase (3 nights for me and a friend). So I mean, it's fine if this hostel does things differently, but it just felt like we were hosed.. ”

- “ They offer dorms and private rooms, one of them with bathtub, sinks and toilet standing inside the sleeping room. Some more rooms are located in a building nearby - ours was very noisy, as a part of the window could not be closed, next to a busy street! Breakfast: okay at best. Luggage was stored in a room where everyone in the house could enter. Positive points: Safe neighborhood, house looks nice from outside, not far from beach, staff very friendly (drove us with her car). ”

- “ This was a great place to stay. The staff are wonderfully helpful in anything I needed, we were close to the beach, and the facility was comfortable. The only thing I had a problem with was how cold the 13-person dorm room got at night. Maybe a heater to help during the winter months? But aside from that, I had a brilliant time. ”

- “ I get a feeling a lot of the previous reviewers went in expecting Four Seasons. I mean it's a low-cost hostel so go in expecting to meet a bunch of cool people in a decent environment and you will. Marco was an awesome dude if you make friends with him. Showed me around and helped me get settled in and even recommended sightseeing places and told me minute details to look out for. Vending machine dispenses cheap beer- $1.25. Room itself was decent. Beds were fairly hygienic. Overall - Great! ”

- “ Nice Location near to LXA Airport easy access by bus service from Airport, free internet works very good, friendly staff . need to focus on cleaning because the carpets in the rooms smells wired ...good for short stay not for long run. The staff are very friendly, they welcomed us I arrived in the evening I forget his Name I think he is Eian sorry I forget his name he is from UK on our arrival he gave us all the information of the local area, market and every thing, he is very helpful. ”

- “ Good Hostel. Clean enough. BUT. I was surprised that actually there are TWO different buildings of this hostel. One of them is a big and nice house with a kitchen far enough from busy and noisy road and another one is a small house right next to the road. No kitchen. My room was very noisy because of busy road right behind the windows. And the price was almost the same for very different quality of the rooms. I would advice to check everything before arrival. ”

- “ Beware of a tax not included in the price and of a $5 surcharge if you need to pay by credit card. The place is a single family house about 3 km from the beach. The bedroom is crammed with beds and the mattresses are the worst I have ever seen. But the ceiling is beautiful and the common areas are spacious. It is convenient to LAX but not to the LA Greyhound station. No lockers. ”

- “ Okay hostel in general.Good location for Venice beach(20 mins)But No activities or group bonding encouraged by the staff, disappointing. Good sized kitchen but wouldn't be somewhere i'd like to cook. Cleanliness can be greatly improved upon here. No soap in the bathroom isn't a great start, no privacy afforded whatsoever either.Bedding & sheets leave much to be desired, felt more like a hammock than a bunk.. no duvet covers on the duvets which means theyre not washed, ever. not a nice thought ”
