- “ Overall, it´s Ok. I think the guests from shared bedrooms must be more respectful while others are sleeping wich could be shown with signs on the walls. And almost everytime the kitchen was dirty. The problem is the guests and the way you control them. Rodrigo - Chile ”

- “ The hostel is good, clean and it has a good bar. However it's not too close to downtown. It should also consider have extra toilets in the bathrooms as there was only one per floor, and it's just insufficient at times. In a nutshell, a good value for money. ”

- “ The West End Hotel is highly recommended. The hostel is located in a nice, pleasant neighbourhood, close to Princes St in the heart of the city. The facilities are very good and the hostel is quiet and clean, providing an ideal and tranquil setting for exploring the city and beyond. I would definitely stay there again! Also, the hostel section is good value for money. ”

- “ The second night I found the reception closed at 10 pm. The girl who was working at night was rude and unwilling.- Oliver is willing and hard-working. The room 2 smells and needs more ventilation. ”

- “ The hostel itself was really nice and clean. The staff were always to busy, you always had to wait to ask a question. The rooms are nice but there are no powerplugs in the bedrooms. There are only about a dozen spread through the kitchen/dinning - lounge room. 3 next to a table and 5 under the computer. There are some in the kitchen but standing in the kitchen whilst everything is charging - not really ideal. They also only had a really small fridge for everyone as the other small one was broken ”

- “ A lovely place this one, super clean and stylish. Not the most social but it's quiet if you're looking for some peace. It's a bit far from the centre of Edinburgh though, I kept having to take the train back and forth (though it's not expensive, they do stop running at 23:00 or so). ”
