If you've come to Rome just to hang out at the hostel bar, drink a lot, and meet other travellers, then this is the place to stay. Having the bar downstairs was nice for socialising, but the rooms are very basic. There are no hooks to hang up towels, no handsoap in the bathroom. The reception staff are a bit cold and unhelpful when you asked them for advice on sightseeing. The day I left there was a breakout of bedbugs on the eighth floor. ive been to yellow for three nights, in a 4 beds dorm. the location is real good, less than 10 minutes walk from termini station, the staff is nice and helpful and the bar downstairs is nice. all in all a real nice place Morr, from Israel ~ 5th May 2012

We were lucky and got upgraded from 6 bed dorm to a twin private. The privates are located in an apartment in a separate building. No bathroom sharing though. good thing is that you feel like living in an actual Roman apartment. Rooms and bathrooms are clean, staff is nice as well. Internet (free wi-fi) isn´t so fast but it´s OK. Location is good if you travel by train (4 blocks from Termini), but not that close from the main sights. Doesn´t feel safe at night though. The Yellow was awesome. It was clean, had good drinks, good food, and friendly/knowledgeable staff! They also had a cheap drinks and dance parties for the guests. I stayed in a private room and it was really clean. I'd definitely recommend the Yellow. Traenesha, from USA ~ 2nd Apr 2012

The staff is great, the pub is great, the vibe is awesome. The only two cons are the noisy bunks and the lack of clothes hangers in the room, the rest room and the shower. Other than this very small things, It's a great hostel and I'll definately stay there if I have the chance to be back to Rome. Fully recommended!
