  • LOCATION IS HORRIBLE. It's an hour away from the center by public transport. It's in the middle of nowhere. Nothing around it. They're own facilities close early so once they close you're stuck there with no help. THERE IS NO WIFI. We had a train early morning, and there was no way to get to the station at 6, so we had to go there the night earlier AND STAY THE NIGHT ON THE ROAD. Restaurant and Mini Market were nice. Rooms were pathetic. Spend more and live in the center of the city. Worth it!

  • Excellent camping for cheap and convenient stay in Rome. Good transport links to the city center, very convenient that there is a direct camp bus to station and back. Very nice girl working at the reception. Highly recommend this camping.

  • The rooms did not have any ventilation and insects everywhere!! My legs are all over bites! They do not do rent towels or stuff as hostels usually do. And they asking to people to use caps in the swimming pool but the cap you have to buy there!

  • In general the place is on the level of its price, normal, average level. I didn't like the security conditions at Tiber Hostel, it was impossible to leave the stuff in the dorm, also there was lack of wall sockets to charge electronic devices. But the atmosphere and the cousine in the bar were quite good :)

  • This place was a huge disappointment. It really isn't a hostel at all. We stayed only one night and then changed the hostel. Our "room" was made of caravan, we couldn't close the window so anyone could get in. Beds were horrible, really uncomfortable. I'm sure that it is nice as a camping place but not as a hostel. Also the location was really poor, way too far from the city center.

  • Deficient shuttle service and the worst attention in front desk. Room not ready on time, girl at front desk does not solve any problem, she gives wrong information.

  • Stayed here for 4 nights, met some amazing people and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The shared dorms are pretty basic and the travel into Rome can be up 40mins but regardless the place is amazing. it has its own bar and pool what more do you want?! Oh and if you get the chance definitely go to the pool parties they have!

  • Nice place but the rooms have paper thin walls when it comes and when someone walks in one of the two rooms that are stuck together, everything shakes so you really need good neighbors. Good place for camping in a tent, but the rooms aren't so good.

  • We came just for a night. As it was not right in the city we arrived quite late. Was hoping to refresh in the swimming pool. But to our big dissapointent it closes already at 8 p.m. The cabins for couples and for private sleeping are too small and stuffy, there is even no fan in it to make it easier in the heat. It's So hard to sleep on those beds which are bending so much and making nose. I was fully stressed when I got there. We slept on the floor, sweating whole nigh. Also too much noise outside

  • The hostel was far away from the city but it didn't matter becouse the hostel gave a free shuttle bus servise between tram station and the hostel. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The showers were quite dirty.

  • I LOVED this place!! My only complaint is that the beds were springy and uncomfortable, but honestly that didn't matter to me too much. The staff was super helpful! It took about 40 minutes to get into the city, which was far but not unreasonable. My absolute favorite part about the place was that it doesn't attract partiers. It is super family friendly.

  • Would recommend. Free shuttle to train stop that takes you to metro, total travel time to city center 30-45 minutes. First shuttle 8 AM, early enough for you to get to things when they open at 9 AM. Last shuttle 11 PM, late enough for you to grab dinner and see Rome at night, not late enough if you want to go out to bars and clubs every night, though I was too tired after a full day of sightseeing to ever regret that. Decent moderately priced restaurant on site, cheap pizza and fruit by train.

  • Great place, especially for travelers trying to travel cheap, but it is far away and the last shuttle is at 11pm, so you have to leave Rome at around 10pm.

  • Although this hostel is a little far outside of Rome, it's a great value for the price. They have a shuttle that picks you up from the local urban rail station (Prima Porta), so getting out there isn't too difficult. It's about 30-45 minutes depending on your timing with the train and shuttle. The staff is excellent, all of them are very nice and speak excellent English if your Italian isn't very good. As for grounds, the atmosphere was very friendly. The market and restaurant were great!

  • Fun place to stay. Glad I stayed here instead of inside of Rome. It was nice to get away from the bustling city. The staff was very loud very early in the morning but other then that it was great!

  • I did not think this hostel was very safe. If you are Americans, I would not stay here. It's very far from everything and it is in a sketchy area.
