Just be warned that the walls of the "private" rooms don't reach the ceiling so you can hear everything from your neighbours.

Had problems with bed bugs which gave me nightmares, but luckily I wasn't affected.

Could not wait to get out of there: BEDBUGS ARE IN A ROOM 4a !!!!!!!!! When I entered the room for the first time I wondered why everything smelled of insecticide and I have discovered in the morning that I am covered with bitemarks the size of tennisballs! That tells me they knew there was a problem in that room, despite this knowledge,they placed me in this room. Filthy, noisy, ugly place. Agree with all comments made by other guys/girls in regards to this hostel. If it was possible to give negative markings, this place will score MINUS 100, DEFINITELY. It should be notified to tourist board and closed really, its a health hazzard.<EM>Click here to edit</EM>

In fact we booked for 3 days, but stay 1 night!!!!! it was the ugliest places where we've ever been!!!

The hostel is 1. Dirty - room / bed / bed sheet is dirty and has stains and the room is smelly and stuffy 2. kitchen - food left in the sink ,plates not cleaned , no spoons and fork and other cooking utensils usesable 3. Noise level - people shouting and talking after 10pm , disturbing sleep , radio switch on all night , people using handphone all night long eg at 4am 4. Staff not helpful - not able to keep noise level down 5. Lift to 5th level broke down - have to use the stair case In summary , my stay at Conor Top Floor is a nightmare and i WILL not stay again with Conor Topfloor for the rest of my life. I do not recommend other people to stay with Conor topfloor , better to pay a bit more and stay somewhere else. In fact i think Conor's topFloor owe me a refund cause my stay in auckland was not pleasand and my 2 days was really bad due to the fact that i was not able to sleep at all for 2 nights. Hostel World should consider taking Conor Topfloor off it's website !! and now i am using HostelBookers - so far the hostel that i stayed is good.
I would not recommend staying here! My single room had no power point, and the walls didn't reach the ceiling so I could hear a lot of noise, and everytime someone else entered their room at night the light flooded my room and woke me up. There was also no hot water in the showers.

NOw the main thing to say about this place is that it was really nice, except for the blood eating beasties living in my bed. Not pleased about that. squashed em.

We only stayed for one night but it was really really nice. We would love to come back one day!
