  • The Director of the Hotel is a very reasonable man.

  • Breakfast: very poor, but several slices of bread (which you can toast yourself), with a choice of margarine with/without jam. (That was it.) Water: comes from the tap, no seperate big bottle with drinking water for coffee/tea. AC: in public space hardly always switched of several times asked to switch it on but when the owner of Transit Point was present, it was switched of asap. Shower: water never hot, even not real warm. Indifferent. Summarized: stingy. Mind: facilities! Not about people!

  • Very friendly service. However, lack of initiative when it was needed. We had water-disconnection the last day/night of my stay. Nothing at all was provided to customers to make this inconvenience a bit easier: us customers good-naturedly accommodated ourselves to it, going to toilets outside. But in the course of more than 12 hrs not even a cheaply-bought 10litre drum of water was secured for eg. washing hands and flushing down toilets. Not even bottled water for some tea in the morning :-(

  • this is the Best hostel I've stayed with the lowest budget. Breakfast, internet, location, room, hot water shower...everything was more than what I expected.

Practically, Barcelona is a pretty easy city to navigate on foot or by public transport with a well laid-out grid system for the streets and a simple metro system. Here's an example of what you can do with 24 hours and a T10 (10 journey) metro ticket.
