It was a suprise to walk into a converted gym turned hostel, but the staff was very helpful, and the location is quite incredible. The restrooms and showers are on the second (men's) and third floor (women's); thus I would not reccommend for those with mobility issues. Enjoy the close distance of Prague's famous attractions within 5-10 minutes walk.

This place is by far the best yet on my Eastern European tour. If you like sleep, this may not be the place for you. If you like meeting lots of interesting new people, however, this is DEFINITELY the place. The social atmosphere cannot be beat, and the beer is cheap...too cheap. Drink a James Dean for me, but just one, or you're fucked.

you don't expect such a sense of well-beeing while sleeping in a p.e. room but this is exactly what you have. You aren't disturbed by anyone other, there are small dividing walls.
The only thing that isn't comfortable are the hard matresses. And if you're female you have to go two floores upstairs to go to the bathrooms...

This place easily has the best atmosphere of any hostel yet. I've made friends with hostel mates and staff alike; they're all fantastic, and the setting precipitates it. COME TO UJEZD!

This hostel was great!!! The staff was very helpful. Great location (cheap restaurants and tourists info near and clubs in walking distance). The breakfast was simple but ok. Simply loved it!
