WORST HOTEL EVER. Never ask pickup service, because they charged us 1600rp instead of 400rp (normal tariff).Rooms are small, dirty and showers work sometimes. Costumers are not so friendly and helpful. We forgot an expensive coverpillow for asthmatics in first time and we hastly send 3emails to advise them to search it, but they didn't do it in 15days. When we came back they say that they didn't find. No ask room near reception because they don't respect the calm and yell all the night.

I recommend this hostel for people looking for a hostel in Mumbai because the location is very perfect. it is walking distance to India Gate, Prince of Wales Museum, Market, bus terminal, train station, etc and the staffs are very helpful and informative.

Walking distance to Gate of India. Then take a boat to the Elephanta caves.Very, very basic facilities, but that is normal for India. Adam, from USA ~ 28th Mar 2012

Great place I and really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend... PLUS points, very clean/well kept building, staff are EXCELLENT and spacious airy room all recently tiled. MINUS points, hard to find (no one seems to know about this place), cost is high for India (but this is Mumbai so perhaps expected) and no communal area/bar/restaurant to 'hang out' which was a bit of a let down as it would have made the place really stand out...

Clean room and bathroom. Good hot shower. Location is average. But it is a door away from Cafe Universal, which is a really good hangout place. Seems to be the best value of money in Mumbai since other places are so expensive. Nam, from Singapore ~ 18th Feb 2012

Stayed at Travellers Inn in January 2012 and has nothing but good things to say. Friendly staff, clean rooms and great location. It is not cheap in Mumbai but this is worth every rupie. Kalle, Sweden

At least put a shower in the dorm room, and not filling up the pail. It wouldn't kill to do so. Yee How, from Malaysia ~ 17th Jan 2012

Main complaint was that the beds were very hard, butthey can't have been that bad as I still got a good nights sleep. The sheet on the bed in my children's room was missing a corner - obviously torn, but all bedding was clean, & for us that is the most important. My suggestion to Travellers Inn is to open up one of the rooms on the reception floor to act as a guest lounge/dining area/Internet area/ baggage store etc - would make a huge difference. Staff were great & very friendly.
