I really wonder why you still complain about everything, when you have made the problems by yourself.
When we met in our office we talked about our services and what we can do for you. By the way, all the service instructions were on the wall, if you thought you hadn’t received enough information from the desk. Of course it wasn’t necessary to use all the mentioned services, you just had to choose your favourite one.
1. About the trip.
I gave you tour information according to your request. There were many different options. I guess, you have mixed up all the information and in the end you chose a short trip with a long drive. This is because there were some other tourists who had already signed up for this trip, so you were happy to join with those tourists to share the trip price. It was cheaper for you to share your price with others and that’s why you chose it.
You finished up your trip without any sign or note to the office. But when you returned, you complained that it wasn't the trip that you wanted to choose!!!
I am sure that you have chosen your trip option. I didn’t insist that you to choose that option.
Your choice was for a 2 night & 3 day trip through old capital Kharkhorin and Mini Gobi. In addition you wanted to make Terelj National Park trip.
You mentioned that you have cancelled the last day trip. In fact I suggested you to cancel your last day trip because I really had no energy to handle the way you were being with me.
You paid $140 USD for the 2 night & 3 day trip for Kharakhorum & Mini Gobi trip. Due to your own wrong choice, you wanted to be compensated $270 USD from me instead of $140! I want to know what is your purpose?
2. About the free pick up service.
You have to look carefully at our name card and web site. It says free pick up service from the train station.
You didn’t arrive at the train station - you had stayed somewhere else before you moved to our hostel. I don’t know what kind of problems you have had with your previous hostel. And you wanted us to arrange a free pick service from your previous hostel. I refused, I know.
We arrange free taxi service according to our train schedule. We are not running taxi service in our hostel. We never wait for any possible call and serve for those requests.
3. Hidden prices.
Trip price, instruction, programme... every information was written on the wall as well as on the book. The book is always on the desk. There is no hidden price in any of our services. Also you haven't paid any extra price during your trip.
4. Owner was so stressed.
Yes, that's true. I was so stressed. All the time, you said you misunderstood... all the time you were not happy... all the time you don't say hello when we meet in the guesthouse... all the time you just come to office to complain... all the time you want me to hold for long time telling your endless story because you thought I was wrong...it was, of course, very stressful for me.
5. To pay extra for everything…
I am really sorry Taneli, you haven't paid for:
- storage (it was free!),
- locker (I received a deposit and returned once I get back my locker key),
- taxi ride that we arranged for you at 06:00 AM to the station ( I have paid for you),
- you brought us a huge amount of washing (you didn’t pay),
- room charge for last 3 nights (because of your endless stressed story, I agreed to let you and your girlfriend to stay with us for free).
Actually I knew that your complaint may continue. That’s why I made a list of the things that you haven’t paid for then you have agreed and signed for it. One word, I have evidence with your signature that you haven’t paid for many services.
Finally my understanding is your conversation to us was always about $2- $3. How to get back from us or how to avoid paying for it.
I wish you could ask your girlfriend before you write to me if all those mentioned things between us were true or not. I remember that your girlfriend was avoiding being beside you, because she was upset for you, too.
I don’t think every hostel owner is as generous like me!
