- “ Very good hostel. Great price. Clean, comfortable A/C rooms. Close to BTS and bus routes, and river ferry; get anywhere in the city relatively quick and cheap. Wonderful, helpful, hard-working staff. Great food and local color in the area. If partying on Khao San is not your prime objective, it's a great place to stay. ”

- “ Great little hostel. Joy, the owner, is very helpful and nice, she also speaks perfect English which really helps. The location isn't perfect, but unless you're planning on visiting Kaoh San road a lot it isn't really a problem, the hostel is very close to a BTS station from where you can easily take the Skytrain to go almost anywhere. The rooms have air-con and are very clean, the bathrooms are pretty average but they're clean. The common area is a good place to hang out with fellow backpackers ”

- “ From the minute we got there to the minute we left our experience at the U-Bann Guesthouse was amazing, the rooms were very spacious and clean and Joy was very helpful in every aspect of the experience. She helped us with every single detail of our travels and beyond. The only dissapointment we had was that joy wasn't a lady boy we were hoping she would be a lady boy but she wasnt, besides that the whole trip and stay at the U-Baan guesthouse was AMAZING! ”

- “ When we were looking for a place to stay, we were looking for one that was cheap, clean, easily accessible and near major public transportations. U Baan Guesthouse fit the bill perfectly and more! U Baan is located in a peaceful neighborhood, far from the usual touristy places which means less noise and more locals to mingle with! We were impressed with the hostel especially the super clean rooms. We felt just at home! Thank you joy! Will definitely recommend your place! Matthew & Richard(Msia) ”
