USA Hostel in Other Hong Kong, Hong Kong

It was good to stay in USA Hostel. Location is just great and staff was wonderful. There was only one thing which wasn't good: there was too strong conditioning in our room. We couldn't regulate it because you can only turn it on or off. Anastasia, from Russia ~ 30th Oct 2009

One day I returned to find my room unlocked...luckily none of my valuables were taken. When my buddy called the desk to complain, they hung up on him. Besides that, the location is awesome. We got bad experience. I booked a room there because I saw their video in USA Hotel web site. The room shown in the video was nice. But as we came there, they gave us an old and ugly room. The towels were dirty, that forced us to ask for new ones. The hot water was not working (Already confirmed by their staff). We asked them to give us the room shown in their video, and they gave us Venetian Hotel room, but with additional cost. Staffs were not friendly. Would recommend Dragon Hostel instead. really good location right over the road from the nathan road and near victoria harbour etc Only problem is the lack of a common area for single travelers to chill a bit..don't be put off by the building, you will get a clean and good room in the hostel. Sinead, from Ireland ~ 6th Oct 2009

perfect!! everything is within expectation as i read through all their vedios and compare the price with the others. Here is relatively not expensive. if you don't wanna smell blacks and surrounded by dangerous suspicious people, book here, it's in mirador mansion, an old building next block but much secure. Location in the mirador mansion at nathan road is awfull, but the hostel itself is allright. It's clean and there's free wifi. Shower is small though, you almost have to stand on the toilet, but at least you don't have shared bathrooms. The bed is rock hard, had trouble sleeping. Walls are very thin. Power socket worked poorly. Prostitution going on at street.It's a good choice if you are a backpacker who needs to spend a night, but we stayed 7 days, which was too long for this kind of place. well, when i got into the run-down building it was a bit of shock but after checking the room was a world apart as if you are in a 3/4 star hotel. it would be better if there are more tv channels so that we wont be too bored staying in the room without our laptops. Nélida, from Spain ~ 3rd Sep 2009
