Not very healthy place. We slept in a room without window. It does not seem very safe either...

Other than the room is a little tiny for me and my friend, others're satisfactory plus the location is perfect. Nothing to be complained as you get what you pay for.

"...the BALANCE OF USD XYZ.ab IS PAYABLE." Expect to have to convert it to HK dollars then pay. I was switched from a single private to a twin private. The single beds hog opposite walls with the gap between the beds themselves probably no more than 40cm. The sheets were clean as was the tiny bathroom. The Wifi is fickle. The air conditioning loud, unplug it from the wall so not to tip toe past people who sleep in the hallway to reach the switch.

It's been a great experience staying at USA Hostel. The people were great, location is just perfect. I have never worry about safety or cleanliness. It's really worth every dollar I spent for my accommodation. I owuld recommend this place to everyone and I would definitely come back for my subsequent trip to Hong Kong.

Hostel´s rooms are very clean. You find this hostel in block of flat, where you can find many hostels. This block of flats looks worse. I think, that USA Hostel is very good choice, with great location.
Feel secure as i got enough information in the email from the hostel. Have known that the building was quite run down but it was actually fine and safe. Room is very new and nice. Would come back again.

elevetor very poor can be use only one iso two. we have to walk up/down one floor to use .
Wandered around as the entrance is not eye-catching, the room is nice and clean though. The location is really great.
I think this hostel is overrated by hostelworld. It is misleading. I travel regularly & I have been very satisfied with hostelworld's review & ratings except for this one, which was a cultural shock to me. Apart from the great location, it's a real hassle to wait for the slow & always packed lift. Also, the area is not very safe with touters harassing tourists all the time.
