Way way way too far away from the strip, and being that I lived in Las Vegas prior to visiting the hostel as a tourist I would be disappointed to have to pay so much cab fair if I didn't have a car.

WORST HOSTEL I'VE EVER SEEN OR COULD IMMAGINE. I stayed over NYE09 bcz of the huge prices in other casinos, but the night before I stayed in a nice hotel room for just $7 more. Without a car you're pretty much stuck in the area, full of homeless people.

Limo Tour was kind of expensive for what they offered, otherwise nice hostel with great people

The location is a bit dodgy but great value for money, good transport connections and the staff are lovely and friendly.

It was nice there. Just the neighborhood is not the best. But I am still alive, so it was ok.

The area is pretty damn shady. On a Sunday evening at around 10.30 I was walking back to the hostel from the Fremont Sq. and saw two fights, around 15 policemen running and driving around and so on. The people don't seem to pay much attention to you as long as you mind your own business, but walking alone I was a bit scared (and I'm a fairly big dude). The hostel in itself was hellafun. On Saturday we did a limotour, which included the covercharges to a nightclub on the 62nd floor of the Mandala
