i had a good first couple of days, but then i kept having some bad days, they moved from the room, then the internet is down, then they are fixing some issues, after they lost my laundry Ahmed, from Egypt ~ 10th Feb 2012

I had a great stay with USA hostels in San Diego! The rooms were spacious and clean. I especially loved the reading nook in the bed. Can't turn down free pancake breakfast. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. My only complaint is that the front door was a little tricky to get into at times. I highly recommend this hostel! Kelsey, from USA ~ 2nd Feb 2012

Parker was such a welcoming & warm person.He was my favorite staff member!I would definitely stay here again and I will tell all my friends.Can you make the pancake batter with a bit more love?I love that you offer them for "all-you-can-make" but it was too thin and it tasted like someone put it through a blender:waaaay too rubbery.Just stir, not blend!And what's up with the loud music at 8am? Festival hostel with Halloween decorations. Rooms clean. Facilities clean. Staff very friendly and more than willing to answer questions and help. I was offered to have breakfast even though I arrived mid morning (before check-in). Centrally located to visit tourist sites. Good access to public transit and nearby many places to eat and shop. I thought the hostel was great, staff was cool, except the gay guy who seemed to think I was coming onto him, and the pub crawl that was supposed to go out at 9 but went out after 10. Really though, the place was awesome and I would definitely stay again. Kastle, from USA ~ 15th Oct 2011

You feel like meeting a bunch of people to have a drink, go and party,... Definitely stay here! The street noise might get loud. Staff makes sure to keep it silent in the hostel itself though... All kinds of activities are offered, the hostel is overall very clean! I would definitely recommend this place! Annelies, from Belgium ~ 16th Oct 2011
