i previously stayed in USA hostels LA but this one was nothing like the other. it was not as fun, and although clean and tidy, i was stuck in a room with noisy sleepers. also although some of the staff were friendly, there was one or two that seemed arrogant and not bothered that people were staying in the hostel as GUESTS on holiday (unless the guests were blonde girls!!) i spent as much time out of the hostel as possible and although the location is good, would probably not go back here.

Easy to walk from the bart station if you're coming from or going to the airport. Close to Tenderloin but didn't feel unsafe walking around in the area. Staff were helpful. Hostel and room were in good condition.

Good place to stay, nice Location. The only thing disturbing was that there are cameras in the library. And the guy working there was watching me and wacking off. But thats the only thing that went bad. And BRING A TOWEL! AND A LOCK! they dont provide them. And breakfast is the worst in history. lol

This is the first time I have stayed in a hostel for about 7 years +. I really enjoyed it and it is the best hostel I have ever stayed in. You can't get bored because there is always something going on. The walking tour which is free and run by the hostel, was great and gave me the opportunity to see parts of the city that I never would have gone to. Everyone I spoke to was friendly and it is very international.

One of the best hostels around SF. It's very close to Union Sq. and close public transport to other significant parts of town. The staff was very friendly and helpful and there 24/7. The hostel itself is very spacious and clean, and the common areas are very comfortable. Would stay again, and highly recommend it.
