I found that the woman at the front desk was very friendly when I first arrived and remembered me when I would see her after my initial check-in. She offered to hold my bags for me at Check-out and gave me assistance I needed. Very helpful and friendly! The layout of the hostel is pretty easy and the social area on the groundfloor is set out well to be able to communicate with new people. Overall an impressive hostel in my opinion. We ended up staying for about two weeks because the first few nights were phenomenal. Unlike other city hostels, this hostel is located near the wharf and right next to the park. There is a huge front yard covered with greens. If you backpack often you will find this hostel a luxury, for the money you pay. Breakfast (definitely enough to get you through noon) was memorable. This place is quiet at night and has public parking. Shower facility was good, cleaner than most places. Staffs are helpful Chang Cheng, from Taiwan ~ 13th Jan 2012

We stayed at USA Hostels for just over a week in December 2011. This hostel was in a great location & incredibly quiet at night time which was great. We found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. The facilities (kitchen/bathrooms etc) were more than adequate and the hostel also features a movie room, library and laundry room. There are great coordinated activities almost daily, taking place in and outside of the hostel. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommen Laura, from England ~ 11th Jan 2012

This is the third time I have stayed here and I think it gets better each time! Hands down one of the best I have ever stayed at. Thanks for another excellent experience. I love the fast free wifi and the library to relax in. Having laundry on site is by far the greatest and the huge kitchen/eating area is lovely. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The place was clean. The location is a little out of the way on a kind of dingy street, so walking there at night is a little scary but it didn't really detract anything from my trip. Pamela, from USA ~ 28th Nov 2011
