Filthy as hell! The room was awful!

it is hard to find staff for help other than the one who is on his computers in lounge all the time. hallways fire exits seem to have construction material and personal belongings stored at all times. the location is unbeatable. the breakfast is not the same every day so you may be disappointed at times. one staff seemed to be causing all others problems in every way possible. not too much to do inside the hostel. being the cheapest in the area that is acceptable.

good staff, good location, good breakfast, good beds, tv in room. good for price.

Stayed there because it was cheap but it's the most depressing hostel I've ever stayed at. Communal area too small, one of staff extremely rude to me for no reason (though one member of staff I quite liked to be fair). Staff take up all the space in the kitchen/lounge/internet area - which was tiny anyway.

The cheapest hostel in San Fran. The place shows it.

Only book this place as a last resort (that's what I did). As far as hostels go, it had all I needed; decent size room, fairly secure, kitchen, etc. but this place was no fun what so ever. I would say that it was borderline depressing. The 3 guys working there weren't any help and were constantly arguing, very unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend it unless as a last resort.

Don't go to this hostel just because it's a little bit cheaper. It's NOT worth it! It looks good on its good location, it's not. Uncomfortable, dirty, no fun! Hostels are suppose to be fun!

The staff were ok. One of the staff guys is a little quirky but cool and helpful. The other can help, but occasionally wasn't friendly or responsive. There weren't enough lockers and the breakfast wasn't good, and some of the bathrooms didn't work. But overall, 20$ in a great location, so you get what you pay for. Nothing more.
