It was absolutely wonderful. I wish I could spend a couple weeks here EVERY summer!! THe staff isn't just friendly... I loved sitting down +talking for a couple of hours ver coffee with them. Also VERY helful!! THe only problem I had was getting here b/c no one seemed to know it...?? CAn't understand why though.

Fantastic Location, literally 4 minutes from door to water and across the road from a supermarket and restraunty area. Excellent staff, always friendly and good for a chat and a beer and willing to help any way they can, thanks guys and girls! Super clean, beds are 1 foot longer than normal to accomodate taller people and nice bathrooms too.
Balaton was my best choice after all the big cities.

The staff at the hostel were very helpful. They helped me book day trips, where to go in town, and even cooked us dinner one night. Becase they were great hosts I stayed an extra night in Balatonlelle. I do wish that the intsruction were more clear on how to get to the hostel. Instead of getting off at Balatonlele, I got off at Balatonlelle Felsö, so I had to walk 20 minutes extra in the mid day sun.
nice hostel, clean, nice kitchen and porch, friendly helpful staff one tip - don't go for the private room - it's tiny, no room in it other than the bed...and there's weird redish porn lighting.

It was quiet when I was there so I had a nice resting time. It's own by a nice couple.

Staff were helpful, location was only 5-10mins wlak from the beach, and a supermarket was just down the road. we were there on a sat and sun night so thought they would set the bbq up to make the hostel a bit more fun but didnt. otherwise a decent place to stay.
