The only issue that I had was that the lights on the road up to the campus were turned off in the evenings. It seems that most attendees bus or take a car from the campus to the center of town, and it was pitch dark and seemed unsafe for people who walked. Lauren, from USA ~ 21st Sep 2009

Lovely clean and bright accommodation. Receptionist was rather surly and wouldn't accept that I had paid a deposit at the time of booking.She said that we were still getting the rooms at a bargain rate and made us pay an extra £9.Great bus service with cheap return fares. Located on the top of Bathwick hill, the University campus is a good 15-minute walk from town (although buses are very regular); I had a car so werent bothered. Checking in took ages, probably down to new staff. The campus itself is lovely however, and free superfast internet is a bonus, albeit not wireless. I stayed in Brendon court, which had smallish rooms. Larger options were available, but I wanted budget. Good value :) Ben, from England ~ 31st Aug 2009

The property was perfectly adequate and what I expected. What you can't control for is inconsiderate and noisy guests, of which there were a few on Saturday night. For some reason, drunken guests feel they must yell at the top of their voice in the courtyeard which is excellent for echoing and magnifying sound. However, that is not the university's fault. The room suited my needs very well and the bus service into the town centre was good. The only thing that might have been nice is the luxu Lyn, from Australia ~ 13th Jul 2009
