Vana Tom in Tallinn, Estonia

Nice hostel right in the centre of Tallinn. Has plenty of character. The only problem would be noise if you were in a room at the front and did not want to have a night out. Friendly staff. Decent kitchen facilities. Plenty of showers / toilets. Descent hostel. Thomas, from England ~ 21st Sep 2009

i can't believe this Hostel is located in the centre of old town, it is excellent! they have full-euuipment kitchen, offer free coffee and tea. i am live in room 15, i think this is only unconvenient place is i have to take my luggage to climb stairs, but room is clean and the painting on the wall is quite cute. It is very sweet to provide locker for use, just need to deposit 100EKK, they will return when u check out!

Not too easy to find even though you know the street. Small corridor with a small sign so make sure you look carefully. Good value though and location = greatness. Teemu, from Finland ~ 2nd Mar 2009

Not a bad hostel but not a good one either. The girls on the front desk are helpful in this centrally located but lackluster hostel. Hard to find, cold shower, email didnt work, renovations next door, and allows checkins at 2am. Some of the features not in the brochure. Cheers Matt oz Matthew, from Australia ~ 9th Mar 2009
