bad spot for location, expensive to get anywhere and difficult. No one spoke English, the staff were all nice but kept to themselves. Much better to stay right in Beijing.

Not a good location, not near any bus stops. The staff do not speak very much English.

This Hostal i was booked there for a whole week i couldnt stand it, the three hours from airport and the fact you had bugs every where.

This was one of the best hostels I've stayed in, and I've traveled in 3 continents. Only problem is the location - but if you're going to visit Great Wall and Ming Tombs, it's perfect to get to those sites. Overall, great!

the rooms are big and furnish with private bathrooms (same to the dorm too!) i have travelled to so many cities in asia: ho chi minh, bali, kuala lumpur, tokyo, seoul, colombo, muine...so far this is the best hostel i have stayed in. But if you are looking for city life, this is not the one. if you want to go to the great walls, experience the beijing small town life and the nature, right on, this is it! good luck and safe trip.
