Great location. Ok cleanliness. Could need some upgrading, specially the bathrooms. No parking available, you have to park in nearby streets. Otherwise a good stay, safe area.

We really enjoyed our stay in the cotel. However I think it could be much better if the cleanliness would be improved. The cleanliness of the bathrooms seemed quite okay but for instance we got bedlinen and blankets with curious spots and stains on it. The matrasses were very old without any springings. So we even ended up sharing twosome one matrass. Anyway, the marvelous view from our room was just great :-) Best regards Carolin

Fantastic view of Venice beach from double room ensuite. Not a safe area to go out at night, lots of homeless people. Nowhere nice to eat really besides fast food.

The only thing this place has got going for it is the location and the staff. The rooms are dark, worn and filthy. A coat of paint and new carpets (the current ones constitute a health danger) would do a world of good. With this location you could greate a world class hostel. It is a pitty that you don't make the necessary maintainance.

Ive been to the states for 8 weeks, visiting several Hostels all over the main citys. This was i can say a good one. The room was a little bit small for a 4-bed-room but it was totally clean. Shower was ok. U needed a lock for the lockers, but at least they provided it. The Receptionist were also ok. Some were more kindly then the others. If u had a question, they helped u further. The Kitchen was also ok. Location for Venice Beach was PERFECT. In Summary, nice hostel for a little bit expensive
