I loved the stay at your hostel. atmosphereis very friendly, I've also met russian girl on the reception. Thank her a lot) Young people that I've met at your hostel helped me not to be scared and lonely) Your coffee is also very good) I'll be back at Marseille one day and sure that will stay at Vertigo again) Cheers, Galina GALINA, from Russia ~ 14th May 2012

This hostel was great. The only thing is that the distance from the metro stop is not 5 minutes as they claim. It is about 10 minute walking distance.it is important to put accurate information since travelers drag luggages, arrive late, etc that we need exact information. The staff are professional.I left my earphone in the room by accident and they found it and return it to me when I inquired about it.I really appreciated it. The building and my room was quiet and clean. jina, from USA ~ 8th May 2012

Great hostel. Semi-private rooms make it a great option for solo travelers and and families alike. The kitchen is small, but well-equipped, and the public spaces are welcoming. A friendly, relaxed place to stay. Maeve, from USA ~ 1st May 2012

Staffs are quite good. Rooms are clean and spacious, but we only got a thin blanket to cover us in a cold night without heater. I had to sleep with my sweater on. And my friend got a cold after that night. huan, from China ~ 20th Apr 2012

One of staff was unkind who was shaped hair. I asked him to recommend where to go and he did not know anything just told me take the bus. But the other staff was very helpful and kind. Overall, Good value to stay. SUNJANG, from South Korea ~ 7th Apr 2012

Without a shadow of a doubt, the best hostel to stay in when visiting Marseille. Its excellent location (4 mins walk to the Viuex Port, new ferryboat and 8-10 mins walk to Pharo Gardens and nearest beach), it is a very comfortable place to stay with nice communal areas, book swap, TV with International channels, and lovely, friendly, informative and welcoming staff: the day staff are Anne, Robin and Remy and the night staff are Cyril and Anis. I found Remy and Anis particularly helpful. Book it! ANGELA, from Ireland ~ 29th Mar 2012

Excellent location right there in Vieux Port! I would recommend this hostel to travelers who aren't really into the loud, rambuctious style hostels.I found it to be the quietest hostel I have stayed in.I also found the staff to be ridiculously helpful and would highly recommend them.
