i thought this was an okay place for the money spent. i didnt like being woken up at 2 am by drunk people stumbling into the room and then having sex when three other people were trying to sleep in the room. there are also no lockers for you to lock up your things.

My first impression of Vertigo wasn't good, as the directions it gives on its website are terrible. It took me an hour to find it, if though it was only 5 mins from Charles train station. (It tells you to go through the station from where the bus drops you off. It doesn't tell you that you should turn left inside the station, so that you exit out onto the wide set of steps!) However, once I finally found the hostel, I was very pleased with the staff and facilities. I had the best holiday in ages. I met so many great people from all around the world! Really social place! Miss everyone! Mel.

Besides cleanliness, this was a great hostel. Friendly staff, lots of character in the lounge. The lounge was also created a very good venue to meeting other hostelers.
The only problem again, was cleanliness. In our room, I'm quite positive there were bed bugs in all the beds besides one. Myself and one of my friends got a few bites, but my other friend got quite a few bites on his arms, legs and body. Pretty disgusting if you ask me!

The hostel it's nice and near the train station. The zone it's a little bit dangerous but no problem.
The rooms and bathrooms are cleans and news.
Vetigo it's a good choise.

I just saty at Virtigo one night with a day before of stayed over on arrival day which made me slept very well at Vertigo. It's perfectly quiet place this i like it, with clean bathroom inside.
One thing is not included, that they should have the map attached after booking confirmed to be more easy to find.

I stayed at Vertigo from Friday to Monday Feb 15-18 with my son.We stayed in a doubble room. I have only good things to say. The location is perfect, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful in every way and made sure our stay was a very pleasant one.The place is very clean and safe.Thank you everybody that worked there during these days and gave such good reccomendations for our stay in Marseille.
